DAVID RONALDO & THE DICE

Together with his brother, David is the sixth generation of "Circus Ronaldo," the famous theater company that tours festivals worldwide with its circus theater shows, from Scandinavia to Australia.

In addition to theater, David has an insatiable passion for music. In the early nineties, you could find him in the music scenes of Mechelen and Leuven, where he met guitarist Charly Verbinnen. They toured the Belgian and Dutch stages of the rock and blues circuit.

Inspired by his greatest heroes, including Steve Earle, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, and Johnny Cash, David began writing and composing his own songs.

The band found its own sound. The guitar-oriented Americana roots-rock music with David's recognizable husky voice has been the trademark for years. The atmosphere of their music varies from dark, threatening bluesy to funky and playful, with the guitars of the Verbinnen-Lekenne duo always in the spotlight.

They have already released 4 CDs (see above).

Their recent live CD "Burning (A)live," and the studio album "Tunes for a Dime" (see next to this and Spotify) have been met with positive reviews both domestically and internationally.

They perform a live program with songs from their new CD, closely resembling the current live CD. Americana, rock, country, blues, and ballads. Original works and some covers. Passionately presented and intertwined by David and his Dice.
