Who is Livejazz ?

Livejazz was founded in 2004 by Jaak Boon. Initially under the name "Haricot Music" and later "livemusic vzw producties". It worked/works as an accredited mediator for performing artists, mainly active in jazz and classical music. Livejazz has also worked as a producer and manager for, among others:

• Jan Mues (CD Klara Cool Cargo),
• Francois Glorieux (In memorium) solo and orchestral productions - CD production - live concerts
• Jan de Haas Vibes quartet (CD WERF),
• Belgium Swingjazz Orchestra by Johan Vandendriessche,
• Léon L'Hoest .../...Classic jazz Coverband, Jazzrock history...

Live events and production for ministers Anciaux and Vandenbroucke, leading corporate activities, KBC, ABB, KULeuven, Fortis, CM, Belgian Bankers' Association, cultural centers, and productions with cultural houses, Flagey, Arenberg, Concertgebouw...Activities were interrupted for

personal reasons between 2015 and 2023.

What does Livejazz do?

We offer groups orchestras  to cultural and  event organizers. Groups with which we also work in terms of management and production. As a recognized agent, we can also always select the best tailor-made group. To do this, we rely on our extensive network of professional musicians

Who is Jaak Boon Livejazz ?

Jaak Boon has worked as a live musician (saxophone & flute) with leading Belgian pop and swingbands: Jan Muës (Gruwels), Jan Leyers (Beri Beri), Bart Herman, the rock & soul scene of Louvain including The Boxcars, Gerry & the Hattricks, Mark Marshall, and other "classic" ensembles.

ex- Media & Marketing Manager

Former marketing & sales manager at MSC Comelco, De Standaard Newspaper Group, Roularta Media, BIVV/IBSR, Wolters-Kluwer. Flemish government. We understand the language and needs of events & communications, culture, and the musician's world.

Full-time management of  Livejazz in 2024.
